About Capturing Courage
Capturing Courage was founded by Erin Iozzi, former NICU mom to a 24-week micro-preemie and professional photographer. Prior to the birth of her son, Joseph, Erin was the owner and operator of her own professional photography business for six years. As a photographer and NICU mom, she wanted to have professional photographs of her new family, but due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Joseph's birth and his lengthy stay at the NICU, a newborn family photo session never happened. Six months into Joseph's hospital stay, Erin and her family were blessed by a photographer who volunteered her time to take photos of families in the NICU. This gift meant so much to Erin that she decided she wanted to offer these services to any NICU families who are interested.

How It Works
Erin will meet you at the hospital and enter the NICU as your guest. There are a couple forms to fill out giving Capturing Courage permission to photograph your family. Your session will take anywhere from 20-45 minutes. Your photos will be retouched and a CD will be mailed to your home within two weeks of your photo session. Currently there is no limit on the number of sessions allowed per family, we just ask that you are respectful of the needs of other families and try to limit photo sessions to bi-monthly family portraits and big events (first bottle feed, birthday, going home, etc.)
To request a session, please contact Erin at 614-951-9220 or eriniozzi@capturingcouragephotography.org with your request.
